What is PowerPro?
Simply put, PowerPro is the ultimate combination of modern technology and old-fashioned fishing knowledge.
We begin with ultra-strong braided Spectra® Fiber, then use Enhanced Body Technology™ to create an incredibly round, smooth, and sensitive line. PowerPro outperforms monofilament lines in any situation and leaves other superlines in the dust. Try PowerPro on your next fishing trip, and see for yourself why it's every angler's dream - and every fish's nightmare!
PowerPro's unique composition and EBT give you a line that is:
Rounder and more compact
Structurally superior
Smoother and slicker
10X Stronger than steel
For the Big Game angler, PowerPro has introduced a Hollow Core product which will allow you to make "finger trap" connections with monofilament or spliced loops for wind on leaders. Just like all PowerPro lines, Hollow Core's small diameter gives you more line capacity than any other Spectra braid on the market! Our special construction makes the braid easy to open so that you can splice in a mono leader to achieve the highest main line to leader strength possible. Try Hollow Core for making your own wind on leaders.

Splicing Loops is a snap!
"Since we discovered PowerPro, it's been the superline of choice aboard the Royal Star. We were tickled when the engineers at PowerPro developed Hollow Core because finger trapping mono is now a snap."
- Tim Ekstrom & Randy Toussaint, owner-operators of the Royal Star
We have broken through the ice barrier with the development of PowerPro Ice Line. This microfilament line for ice fishing absorbs almost no moisture and resists ice build-up. During the winter months, when the fish are running slow, ice fishermen now have line sensitive enough to allow them to feel even the slightest bites.
Bill Wallace, Sales Manager for Innovative Textiles says, "For a while now, a wide selection of electronic gear has been available for pinpointing hotspots, but what good is it if your line becomes stiff and coiled up? Our PowerPro Ice Line’s sensitivity makes it vital for precision jigging of hard-mouthed, deep water fish."

Less water retention
More flexible
Superior abrasion resistance
Ultra sensitive
Better knot performance
"All the sounds of earth are like music" ... but the electro-static hum of a downrigger’s steel cable may not be music to an angler's ears. Sometimes the best sound is no sound at all. The downrigger’s crude beginnings were born on the Great Lakes. A simple contraption consisting of no more than a hand lowered weighted bucket connected to a spool of mounted wire made great strides over the past century, through the deployment of commercial fisherman.
Significant advancements over the last 20 years have reeled in a growing popularity with sport fishermen. And now Innovative Textiles is picking up the slack and running with the ball (cannonball, that is). Those who have taken the step from trolling weights to downriggers with steel cables are now taking the next logical step ... PowerPro Downrigger Replacement Cable.
Like an undercover agent, a downrigger plagued by the white noise created by a steel cable runs the risk of a blown cover. To eliminate the electro-static hum on steel downrigger cables, fishermen are replacing it with PowerPro. It delivers the strength needed to securely hold the cannonball in place and the small diameter minimizes blowback. So an angler’s precision controlled depth fishing remains a stealth operation.

Each AnglerPro braided Dacron® line has been engineered to provide the maximum strength within its IGFA class. AnglerPro lines are composed of 100% first quality Dacron fiber, unlike many other lines made of second quality or "industrial grade" materials.
Our lines are then coated with microcrystalline fungicide wax to make them practically impervious to mildew or rot. Fly line backing comes unwaxed unless otherwise specified.

All LaserPro™ flylines are braided. Braids are inherently balanced structures, with half the yarns spiraling clockwise, and the other half spiraling counter-clockwise. During flight, all yarns are loaded uniformly, assuring maximum strength from the fibers with minimum weight and wind resistance (or parasitic drag) from the line. Braided lines are more durable and abrasion resistant because the yarns are locked into a symmetrical structure. LaserPro™ flylines are free of internal stresses so they uncoil with none of the "French Knot" or curling tendencies of lower cost, twisted lines. LaserPro™ lines are easier to set-up, handle, fly, and store.
Our TQM manufacturing processes produce lines that are optimized for their weight class. They are the thinnest, strongest, most compact, and smoothest lines available. These hand-crafted lines are available in various grades, weights and lengths, manufactured from two performance materials, Spectra® and Dacron®. LaserPro Gold, the flagship of the LaserPro Lineup, is manufactured using proprietary "Pressure Lock" technology resulting in the smoothest, most responsive flying line in the world!
When properly set up and maintained, LaserPro™ lines will provide hundreds of hours of consistent performance on the flying field. |
