At Shimano we set out to build the highest performing combos for the price. For the Reels we strapped on the New Propulsion spool for the best casting performance. We use stainless steel bearings and placed them in the reels where support is needed and will give the reels a super smooth rotation. We matched those reels with the perfect action rods. All come with Cork handles and are two pieces for easy travel. We used ultra durable graphite reel seats and put premium lightweight guides that will help transfer the lightest of bites through the rod and into your hand.

This combo was built to tackle your larger freshwater fish as well as fishing for your favorite inshore species. We placed a fast gear in this reel making it great for fishing all types of lures. The Zerus reel comes with the Propulsion spool and matched with a 7’0” rod you will cast further and more accurately.
