Shimano to Distribute DYNAMITE BAITS and ACE Fishing Tackle in Benelux and Germany
One of Europe’s largest bait manufacturers, Dynamite Baits Ltd., is pleased to announce that it has granted exclusive distribution rights to Shimano Europe Fishing Holding B.V. for the Benelux and Germany. This allows the Shimano sales offices, Shimano Germany Fishing GmbH and Shimano Benelux Fishing Tackle, distributing the DYNAMITE BAITS and ACE brands in their respective territories as of January 1st 2012. Shimano will offer the extensive range of Dynamite and Ace products to over 700 shops in the Benelux and Germany.

Shimano awarded at EFTTEX again!
From the 17th until the 19th of June EFTTEX, the annual trade show organized by the European Fishing Tackle Trade Association (EFTTA), took place in Amsterdam.
At EFTTEX each company is entitled to enter a maximum of 4 different products into the Best New Product competition. The competition is judged by a panel of independent experts during EFTTEX 2011.
During the official prize giving on Saturday June 18th, the Shimano team was extremely honored being awarded with winning the Best New Fixed Spool Reel and Best New Braid categories.

Shimano Inc. donates to earthquake victims in Northeast Japan
Shimano Inc. has donated 100 million Yen (around 850.000 Euro) to the Japanese Red Cross Society and winter cloths worth of 30 million Yen to support the earthquake victims in Northeast Japan.

Shimano Europe Group has donated 50.000 Euro to the French cancer foundation À chacun son Everest (Everyone its own Mount Everest) that aims to help children with leukemia or cancer.
The support given by this project consists of a mix of educational, sportive and other challenges for these children to regain confidence for themselves and their families. more
